The experiment, Web Formation in Zero Gravity, part of the Skylab Student Project, was submitted by Judith Miles, a junior at Leington High School in Leington, Massachusetts. The Marshall Space Flight Center had program management responsibility for the development of Skylab hardware and experiments, including the Skylab Student Project.
