F-107A characteristics are: Wing span, feet 36.58 Fuselage length, feet 56.57 Airplane weight, pounds Basic (without fuel, pilot) 27,600 Two North American F-107 airplanes were flown at NACA/NASA High-Speed Flight Station starting November 1957 and continuing until September 1959. The F-107A was an aircraft possessing some interesting features that NACA wished to examine in detail. NACA acquired the first and third F-107As built.
