(06/29/2001) -- At Launch Pad 39B, STS-104 crew members check out the payload in Atlantis’s payload bay. In front of them is the high pressure gas assembly that will support future spacewalk operations from the International Space Station and augment the Service Module gas resupply system. The crew is taking part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which include emergency exit training from the orbiter, opportunities to inspect their mission payloads in the orbiter’s payload bay and simulated countdown exercises. The launch of Atlantis on mission STS-104 is scheduled July 12 from Launch Pad 39B. The mission is the 10th flight to the International Space Station and also carries the Joint Airlock Module
